Poll: New LimpBizkit

I haven't heard it, heh .. I don't listen to the radio much anymore.

I think its really good. Over the last couple of years, their music became very "sell-out" sounding and I think with this new CD they've stopped doing that.

LOL all Fred Durst does is sell out. He is a business man first. Then a "musician". Of course I don't think he is much of a "musician".

That's the best way to put it. I didn't care for it much, but I am not a big LB fan either...

wes borland was the only member with anything resembling talent, and he was the most interesting to watch on stage. with him gone, LB has absolutely nothing good about them. not they were very good to begin with.

Haven't heard it, but they were pretty good on the SS2003 tour this year, so I look forward to hearing some of it.

didnt like the new album. fred was the charisma of the band, but wes was the talent and the main attraction with his face paint-ups and antics. with him gone, the band lost its gusto. now they are just another band, and not even a great one in that aspect. wes got out just in time, and said he didnt like the band's direction.

I actually like their more-mellow, less-angst sound for everyday listening. And the sheer concept of them covering The Who is amusing. 🙂

are you sure its amusing?
im not a big The Who fan, but i will say this... LB has no place covering one of their songs.

WRONG forum to post this in man 🙂. It's a general consensus on the Anandtech boards that all these guys out there who like Timberlake and Alanis Morrisette absolutely hate Durst and his band, and will stop at nothing to let you know they hate it.

Mainly, everyone is jealous as hell that they have been successful though they insist their music sucks. They will stoop to say Durst is a 'sell-out' and doesn't know music if it hit him in the face.

As for the new album, I didn't like it much at first, but it's grown on me. Much slower than past albums, but maybe they are trying a new direction with this one. Track 3 is by far the best on the album, as it's one of the only on there that actually resembles their past work. I do like their cover of Behind Blue Eyes (it's their 2nd single off this album), as well tracks 5 (down another day), 6(almost over), 7(build a bridge), 8(red light-green light f/ snoop dogg), 10(let me down), 14(head for the barricade), and 16(drown).

And I almost forgot, don't worry about doing a poll, and make sure everything you post makes sense and is spelled correctly. These leaches around here will use anything and everything to put you down just because you like limpbizkit and Durst.

Any of you guys want to respond? I've got all freaking day, and you asses need to be put in your place.

Wes was the band? With him gone, the band lost it's gusto? If so, where the hell is Wes now? What the hell is his band's name again? Hmmmmm, sounds like Wes isn't the renaissance man you make him out to be.

That about sums it up. Wes is an awesome guitar player, and LB sucks without him. Actually only their first album was remotely good, because Fred wanted to do all this rap bullshit and change the music, thats the sole reason Wes left really. Eat the Day is Wes new band (www.eattheday.com) There's a few sound samples there and they sound like the first lb album, good stuff.
