I could have spent days putting "one more car" on that poll. There are so many muscle cars. If I had kept it to mustangs, I could have put at least 15 different models that would have everyone drooling. (another thread???)

I admit the Thunderbird doesn't really fit, but it was the only 1964 model available on the site I was using...

As an aside, I have a 67 Mustang right now that I am selling. In the not too distant future I hope to replace it with a fully restored car. Deciding what to buy will be a bear of a task as I practically drool over every car at cruise night. If it is to be a mustang, I'll either get a Hertz GT350 clone, a 1970 or 1971 Mach 1 or Boss 302, or a 67 Fastback (Think Bullitt). A Camaro? not sure, but it'll be black and very fast. I wouldn't mind a Nova SS or GTO from the early sixties or a Cuda or Challenger from the 70's.

So many cars so little time.

well it would definately be a mustang...but which one...(and you didn't list any of the convertables, nor any of the shelby specials (mustang or otherwise))

The '71 Boss 351 is the rarest of all Mustangs (1800 made)(except the '62 Mustang I concept car)It pushed 330hp @5400rpms and came standard with a hurst four speed. 11:1 compression...oh yeah, it could haul...

but the 66gt fastback is sooooooo sweet looking. And it did come with an optional 289 hi-po v-8...that kicks out about 270hp

I guess overall I'd take the 66GT, but only if other cars weren't available.
