POLL: mudflaps ?

So I'm looking outside and none of the cars I see have mudflaps... except mine... when did they go out of style ? Mine's a '95 and came with them (see sig).

I think they're ugly as sh!t on cars. It's kind of like putting a lightbar on a car. Edit: oh, your "car" is an SUV. That's fine.

So do they not come with them these days or are people actually taking the time to remove them ?

On most new cars flaps or guards are optional. Most dealers don't order them with them.

none of my vehicles do.

My G/F car does.

there was a WRX STi yesterday with WRC style mudflaps on all corners.

too bad subaru doesn't use them on their WRC car anymore

i drive a 95 altima and i live in LA, there isn't a need for mud-flaps even if those have those chrome nude women on them or the playboy symbol

... ive never even noticed flaps on cars. Like the shield around a bicycle chain, it doesn't need to be there... looks tacky and makes you a dork for not removing it. ;P
