Hello friends:
I just built my new system, the MSI K7T 266 Pro has worked absolutely SUPER don't let anyone tell you different about this board, ITS rock SOLID!!!. The only problem that I have had is that the nvram does not update consistently...let me explain. Once I was able to get over the HUGE problem that I had with the Geforce 3 and the moth*r F*ck*ng SOUND BLASTER LIVE MP3 Digital "pci slot dance" to get the correct irq settings and everything else going I noticed that when the computer rebooted the nvram would not update until I turned the computer COMPLETELY OFF 2 times and then I had to repeat the process twice for every piece of hardware that was installed. I'm giving this info to all the people that are frustrated with the brand of MSI motherboard that I got, also when installing your motherboard DO NOT INSTALL THE GEFORCE 3 DRIVERS BEFORE THE VIA DRIVERS!!!! YOU Will get the alot of lines acroos your monitor every other time you reboot your system..leading you to believe that there could be a major problem with either your motherboard or the video card. There is something absolutely DELICIOUS about the MSI KT7 266 Pro that ITS A MUST to have... Its called D-LED this 3 little lights KEPT ME FROM DESTROYING MY SYSTEM!!!! They give you information on what part of the board is not fuctioning correctly believe me its greatly understated by the the critics. Also the Live Bios worked flawlessly with WINME but not at all with win2000 pro. One problem that I need help on is with the sideband enabling wich the bios does not support for my geforce 3 (I heard that is a great improvement) if anyone have info on that please help.
