What memory are you using SUCCESSFULLY at 133Mhz and what is your CAS setting?

The reason that I ask is that I've tried the expensive Kingmax PC-133 and get nothing but hangs and error messages but it works just fine with my generic memory using Micron chips.

There are issues using the 815 chipset with certain ram. I looked but couldn't find where I read it, but there is some PC133 floating around that will not work with those boards, actually a chipset incompatibility, not the board itself.

Steve is right and MOST of the problems are with higher quality RAM. I am running my 6337 at 143 FSB with Zues PC133 from McGlen. (Cheapest RAM out there) and it works FINE at CAS3. Kingmax is BGA style RAM and is not compatible with alot of boards (Timing and Power issues). Great stuff if it works tho.

I had the MSI 815E Pro with 128MB Mushkin ECC Rev. 2 at 2-2-2 @133MHz and was having problems like the serial com. 2 was not working and the date would always default to Jan. 01 whenever I booted up, don't know if the RAM was causing it though. Returned the board and am waiting for the Abit SA6R now.

What are the FSB settings with this board? The info I got from Their website.. is that it only has 66/100/133. Does the softmenu bios allow you to push it higher? Or am I looking at a newer version of this board?

Thanks.
