Poll - Mr.Roper or Mr.Furley

here in NJ... they show three's company on Nick@Nite from 1am-2am... then on channel 11 at 2am. so which landlord do you like better... Roper or Furley?

I never got into the show, but have been watching it some late at night when I'm trying to wind down now. I like them both pretty evenly. Maybe find Mr. Furley a bit funnier just because it's Don Knotts.

had to go with mr. roper. norman fell played that character so well. not only did he think jack was gay and that caused him to act insecure and weary of jack, but also because his wife constantly cracked on him.

he got his licks in, but she would attack his "performance" and his face would just turn stone pale.

lol. and jack's friend larry. and that lana chick who was always after jack. and how just about every episode's plot looked like this:

1. someone overhears a seemingly innocent conversation and misinterprets it for its hidden sexual meaning.
2. hillarity ensues.

LMAO. you just summed up the whole series right there. typical writers meeting... 'ok, so jack's applying for this chef position right?? and janet overhears him on the phone saying something to the effect of 'ok ill bring the breasts", and so she thinks he is referring to her and crissy...'

Furley. I couldn't stand the way Roper smiled after making a joke.

that was the best part... when he turns away from the person he just busted on (usually jack)... or just looks into the camera after cracking on his wife. furley was funny too... with the bulging eyes and karate chops. i love that show.
