Oh boy, here's something I didn't think I'd had=ve to do...

*shudder*

I start University in less then 3 weeks. The university is on the other side of the city. It would be a 20 minute drive to and from school each day. Thats a lot of KM and gas usage every single day.

Do I move in with my grandma and grandpa who I do really like, but are quite annoying (especially when they are arguing with each other :)).

They have an extra suite ready for me if I ever need to stay the night or something.

They are about a 5 minute drive.

I'm thinking I could live there during the week, and stay at home or at a friends on the weekends.

Twenty minutes isn't bad at all. If it were me I'd stay/live where I liked to, 40 minutes of driving wouldn't decide for me.

Yo_Ma-Ma,

20 minutes is on a good day w/ few cars.

In the morning and after school, my drive could be 35-40 minutes each way.

Yeah, I'm no big fan of driving either. Wouldn't hurt to try the new living arrangement, just try set it up initially that if it doesn't work out someone (i.e. Granny) doesn't end up with hurt feelings.

if your granny is like mine that would be cool :) i dont see what it could hurt unless you think you would be embarrassed by living with them. i sure wouldnt and is nice that they offer (are they sincere with their offer or just being nice?)
