Tell Me Now!

Please?

...and why?

I voted for Viewsonic because of their quality and price. If I was gonna buy an LCD, it would be from them.

Where's Apple? I like Apple's 30" LCD. I don't think I need to explain why.

Dell, high quality usually and very inexpensive compared to other brands. At least in 20" and above.

Dell for me, well priced during sales and 21 days to return it for whatever reason =)

Same here. No complaints with my 2005FPW (and I wish I could afford the 2405 - much less afford the SLI video cards to drive it in native res in games :p)

Updated with more LCDs.

And yes, you do have to explain why for Apple, because, I don't know why I would choose one.

hyundai's are a hell of a deal - $350 for a 19" LCD with 8ms response!!! I like mine, no dead pixels, great brightness, etc. Still, i've seen some samsungs that i like, and i think i saw a new 5ms model around somewhere, so maybe that'll be the new best buy if it ever becomes readily available.

Not in gaming, but I've also seen the price tag! And they're bezel looks fugly next to a PC.

take out dell, they use other manufacture's panels ex. samsung, benq, etc.
So does Sony, but these companies choose the best and then they spice it up to make it more their own. So, I think Dell, and Sony and whoever else DOES belong on the list.

Well, if you want a 30" LCD at 2560x1600, Apple is the only game in town at this point, and you must fork over the $3000. That is, until Dell comes around and releases a similar LCD for $1799 (and you know they will). :p

You do realize that if you did that you'd end up with only 3 companies right? There are only 3 companies that actually make the panels, everybody else just buys from them and then puts in their own video chip and other stuff.

I voted for Dell because I got a beautiful 2405FPW for $860. Apple's 30" is nice, but I don't have or plan on getting the Mac or workstation card to drive it as that sacrifices gaming, and I don't have the $3000 for the Mac or $1200 for the workstation card. Apple's LCD's aren't the best for gaming either.
