POLL: Most annoying NBA on NBC personality

I have been watching the Mavs-Wolves game on NBC, and P.J. Carlesimo is driving me crazy! Apparently NBC is not satisfied with employing the World's Most Annoying Sports Announcer, Bill Walton, and feel they also need to hire #2. P.J. is an arrogant jackass, and that voice of his makes me understand why Latrell Sprewell felt compelled to choke him.

How about neither. I like Bill Walton's crazy comments and Carlissimo is a cool guy cuz Sprewell tried to kill him.

For most annoying NBC NBA dude I would say Jim Gray. He interviews stupidly and I'm still pissed at him for his Pete Rose incident.

Walton is the best reason I've yet found for the "mute" button. Biased observations delivered with an over-the-top style. The only people who can stand him root for the teams Walton likes.

Note to Bill: When leading by two, that team is not "destroying" the other.

But that is what makes him so funny. He knows he's making biased observations and says all sorts of crazy stuff on purpose just to get the other announcers excited or angry and stuff. He's hilarious sometimes just because he is so nuts.

Heh, I'm a hardcore MJ fan but Walton is seriously the worse...back when MJ was playing...everytime the Bulls were down he'd say "Just give it to Michael..." "What are you doing shooting? Give it to MICHAEL!" etc. etc. and even my sister, who is more of a Jordan fan than me, thought it was annoying. Die Walton. Die.

.Out of those guys, Jim Gray. But, you got to have Ahmad "MJ's Personal Ass-kisser" Rashad on the list, that guy annoys the hell out of me. PJ is annoying too though, with his big ass mouth, and that row of teeth, he looks like one of those Critters

I just can't stand Gray's interviews, he asks the most ridiculous questions. Some player's mom could have just died, yet he went out and played, and Gray would be like "Your mom is dead, how did that affect your game today?"

I don't want a sideshow. I want to watch a good basketball game with insightful and clever play-by-play. What Walton provides isn't even inflammatory, it's just plain incorrect. He makes Don Cherry look astute.

I always get annoyed at how NBC pairs Bill Walton and Steve "Crapper" Jones (yea I know it's Snapper, but Crapper fits him better). I think NBC tells them they have to disagree on every single point the other makes during the game.

They could be calling a game in LA, and Walton would say, "Wow Steve, what a wonderful Southern California day. 80 degrees, sunny, this is truely the most beautiful day in the history of the world."

Crapper would butt in, "Oh come on Bill, are you telling me you actually LIKE sunny weather? 50 degrees and raining is OBVIOUSLY better weather than this."

Walton, "I just like the bright blue sky on sunny days, what is wrong with that?"

Crapper, "Oh, come on Bill! The sky is OBVIOUSLY pink outside."
