They both use the same network, so I'll go with the one with the easiest to pronounce name.

Kazaa is very easy to pronounce. 2 syllables vs. 3. I'll go with Kazaa. :p

morpheus....why have spyware, when you don't have to???

<< Kazaa. There is only spyware if you choose to install it damnit!!!:| >>

you are quite wrong....run This Program (Ad Aware) and see. If you find spyware, which you will, uninstall Kazaa, if you are still convinced that it is due to some other programs, re-install Kazaa, don't check the boxes, and you will STILL have spyware. Your computer though.

<< Morpheus...but is there a difference between the two? >>

Aside from spyware and some visual details, no.

Morpheus doesn't have spyware.... and I feel sorry for you :(

Does your college allow file sharing within the dorms? (via the local network)

neither... I've tried them and got a very poor selection of music for the types I listen too. Audiogalaxy is the only way to go for rare underground sounds.

Morpheus....no spyware and the visuals are easier on the eyes...none of that neon green yellow pink crap that Kazaa has.

Kazaa, Morpheus, and Grokster all use the same program....licensed from another company....they all link to different networks. The security hole rumor a couple weeks ago was just that, a rumor supposedly stared by the record companies....I prefer Kazaa, as Morpheus loses connection quite often or can't get connected......

Morpheus, it's the same as Kazaa (it's temporary files are even named "Kazaa download"s) but doesn't have spyware.
