I have to agree with this..just try to remain calm and logical during the discussion. There must be some reason he doesn't want YOU to be with her (you said you were not best friends). If his only reason is "Cuz he said so".. I'd accept it, but start looking for another roommate. As someone else pointed out, he may start being anal about other things.
