Werd. I drive a ' 94 and it is by no means a chick car. It is the most fun car I've ever driven. I can take that thing around sharp turns at excessive speeds. It's a great car and if you don't like how it looks stock you can mod it which is what I'm planning to do with mine once I get the money. I think my older gen Miata looks much better than the new ones though (98 and up). There are lots of aftermarket things you can buy for it too since it has such a huge croud.

Edit: I really don't like the white ones though...... but that's just my opinion. The only colors I like are red, silver, and black. Good thing about the white though is it's easy to paint over. :)

Homosexual men have good taste in most things (clothes, food, etc)....well except for EDIT:Nevermind I don't want a vacation right now

I almost bought one back in 96. I ended up getting a MX3 instead though. But I'd buy one any day. I like them.

mmm, not bad not bad.

i'd drop it a lil too ;) i gotta admit, i like SOME when they've been modded and such...and the new ones stock look pretty nice...

still think the name 'miata' rings the 'its a chic car' to the MAJORITY of guys....ahh well.

I dunno if I can drop it any w/o it bottoming out over bumps. lol... They are 16" rims.

It's not a chick car. It just has a chick car name, because some assclown at Mazda-USA decided it needed one. It's called MX-5 in the UK, where people happen to view it as a sports car.
The new ones look like Vipers.

If you drive some pos like an Impala and call the Miata a chick car, I am obligated to make fun of you for driving a FWD pos. Also, when I see a guy driving an SUV, the first thing I think is "apathetic generic suburban soccer dad". When I see a guy driving a Miata, I think "enthusiast". I could very well be wrong, and the guy driving the Miata could be gay, because homosexuals think they have better taste than the rest of us and are obligated to wear clothes and drive cars that are percieved as gay.

this WAS my miata

that was my miata back in 97 (the first pic)... now its back to stock..

all i can say is that it can handle! drives down mulholland are amazing in a car that handle well.

I've seen more older(50s-60s) doods drive it than chicks. Although you'll find lots of young gay men driving it in San Francisco.
