I have decided that I like the original more than the second overall.

There's no way they could have captured the wonder of the original, & it wasn't meant to - It was a continuation of the plot.

That is probably why some were "disappointed," but they shouldn't have expected any different.

It did what it was supposed to do very well, and it will make assloads of money.

And if you look at the FX shots and action scenes, I'd take Reloaded over the first.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but it seems like asking which part of the movie did you like better, the intro, the body or the ending.

i'd like to see Revolutions before i make a judgement on how the parts fit overall.

as just a movie going experience i think i enjoyed reloaded better, but i went into matrix 1 with a LOT lower expectations so i was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

Call it what you want. I didn't see any cartoons on the screen, and I was even wearing my contacts.

Sure you did unless you were taking a bathroom break. I implore anybody who says the CGI was top notch throughout the entire movie to download the reloaded trailer where the agent is jumping on the hood of the car on the highway chase. Look at him. If you still think that's good CGI I can't help you.

even when neo is fighting all those agent smiths there's an extended sequence where if you watch neo's face you can tell it is completely cgi. i found that distracting. and disappointing.
