I like Land-O-Lakes AA Grade Sweet Cream Butter.

depends. I give margarine props for being easily spreadable, but if it's for baking or I don't have to spread it myself, I go with butter.

Damn right! If it doesn't melt in the summer, it ain't right!
Butter is better. Butter, bacon grease and olive oil. Got some of that on hand, and you can cook anything. Unless you ONLY have that, in which case you can Perfect Atkins Soup?.

Butter out in butter dish = easy to spread.

but unless I leave it out to get soft or put it in the nucleator, it tears up the bread (unless it's a bagel or something)

And how long does butter last in a covered butter dish?
At least a week and a half. Never known any to stay longer, but definitely 10 days, for 1/4lb.

I always leave my butter out of the fridge in a covered tray, but my family keeps putting it back into the fridge!! When will they stop and leave the butter out in all of it's spreadable glory?

You margarine twits should all up and die already.

Butter is quite simply one of the world's greatest treats, and I don't know if I would be able to keep myself from putting a bullet in my head if butter was banished from the world.
