Pizza is my favorite food. However, lately, in the last 6 months, every time I've eaten it, from various places, it has given me a bad stomach ache and caused me to have to go to do #2 repeatedly. As far as I noticed this is the only food that has caused this problem. The stomach pain isn't that horrible, but its no fun either. Take a vote on what I should do :)

Oh man that would suck, yeah I would suggest something mild with your pizza like

Water
Milk
Kool Aid
Non-acidic Juice

Definitely NO soft drinks or beer

Aren't there any "help prevent me from doing #2" drugs out there?

hey that poll is useless. Nuke it or something...

Ditto on the cheese and beer and especially the doctor.

I dunno...what's the antonym of a suppository?

I'm with fir3, despite any minor medical knowledge the general anandtech public may have, it would probably be best to go see a doctor.

If you don't, I'd agree that it could be a lactose problem, and to test this you could eat pizza w/o cheese, or cheese or other dairy products in other foods, and see if there are any fluctuations.

What toppings? Sometimes certain types of Italian sausage can rip me a new one.

I usually eat pepperoni or plain cheese.

I drink 2 glasses of milk, plus eat cheese on a sandwhich and sometimes at night..never gives me any problem..of course that's nothing compared to the amt of cheese on pizza.

Your probably right about the doctor, but I don't really feel that this is a problem to go see a doctor about, next time I go in for a checkup (if I don't figure it out before then) i will ask.

I usually drink coke or pepsi with pizza, although today I had water, and I'm having the problem today too.

I put the poll up for fun :p

I agree with the others. A doctor is you best bet.
Something to think about though, has it happened at all when you eat

1. greasy foods
2. pasta (stuff with tomato sauce)
3. anything with milk
4. anything with cheese

You could have an allergy or something like IBS. Best to get it looked at by a pro.

Something you can actually try is going cold turkey for a few months. Then slowly reintroduce yourself to it. I'm talking 1 slice when you do to see how it goes. That's how my brothers weaned themselves back onto foods they were allergic to.

If you can't live without pizza for a few months, try taking some tummy medicine before you eat pizza. That might help prevent any upset.

Something occurred to me. It may be the yeast that you are reacting to. You might want to check into it.

Is it Domino's pizza? Domino's pizza always used to do that to me. Of all the pizza I've eaten in my life (and trust me, that's a lot :p ), Domino's is the only type of pizza that gave me those exact same symptoms.

edit:
Doh. Nevermind. I just saw in your post that the pizza was "from various places". So just ignore me, the guy who can't read :)
