*POLL* Loaded CPU and System Temps

Come on now folks! Post away!

I'm just curious if my problem lies more in my case cooling or CPU cooling. Please list CPU temp as under load (100%) for 30 min plus for an accurate reading. Also if you could be so kind, where your thermistor for your CPU temp is located.

Current Sys: 29 (ambient: 26-27)
Current CPU: 48 (RC5 for several hours)

(My sig is presently incorrect. Due to heat wave I am only running @ 900)

uhmmm. Is that -11 as in -11. Or is that 11 less than your sys temp?

In either case, is that with peltier and water cooler, or do you know of some fans I don't?

Anyway thats what it runs with air temp at 68F (20C)

No that -11C 😉 fans cant get you lower than your ambient... Thats a watercooler with a 72Watt TEC.

With my Duron 700 and TaiSol HSF and only one case fan i get:

CPU loaded: ~40 C
Case temp: 30 C
Room temp: ? hot most of the time (I can't wait for winter 🙂

I haven't o/ced yet though.

(BTW any idea what other than processor would lock because of a system temp exceeding 30 c? Even running @ core everything I was still locking. I also learned that the radiator in my *tiny* dorm room doesn't QUITE turn off--so I'm fighting that too 🙁 Anyway, thanks again)
