Poll: Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kremes are nasty and make me sick. I'll rather go to the grocery store or a small mom and pop store rather then eat there. I just don't understand how anyone can stand them let alone eat them.

I live for doughnuts, they are one of my basic food groups. KK came to my area last fall I've been there twice. Great PR machine, getting free fresh doughnuts is always nice but these are disgustingly bad. They must be 50% glaze sugar by weight. I thought I would go into diabetic shock when I bite into one. I suppose one without the glaze and warm wouldn't be bad, but it would be awful tiny.

They were a huge disappointment to me. Had to go back again to try it again, same results. Each time they were fresh out of oven taken right off the rollers from the oven.

I hope KK doesn't kill as many small bakeries/chains as that evil empire, Dunkin Donuts, has. Long lie the small independents!

i prefer other donuts over KK though.
