"Beth" is a song by Kiss that was originally released on their 1976 album, Destroyer. To date, it is their highest-charting single, reaching #7 on Billboard's American charts and attaining gold status. It would be their first, and ultimately final Top Ten single until "Forever" in 1990, which hit #8.
Written and sung by drummer Peter Criss, the song was a last-minute addition to the Destroyer album, and "Beth" was the only one Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley liked.

"Babe" is a song on Styx's 1979 triple-platinum album Cornerstone. The song was Styx's first, and to date only, U.S. number-one single.
The song was written by member Dennis DeYoung as a birthday present for his wife Suzanne. The finished track was recorded as a demo with just him and Styx members John Panozzo and Chuck Panozzo playing on the track with DeYoung singing all of the harmonies himself.
