Poll: Keep messing with my HTPC, or Buy a ReplayTV

I'm tired of messing with my shuttle box. It works, but I'm having troubles outputting video to my HDTV. All I really want it to record shows. ReplayTV can do this too, and probably much easier, but with a monthly fee. Should I sell the shuttle and move on, or keep messing with it?
 
What video card do you have?

Are you using PowerStrip to set the proper timings for outputting to your HDTV?
 
What software are you using for recording purposes & playback? Personally I recommend MythTV over just using Windows.

Radeon 9600 AIW pro. Yes. Proper? don't think so. Its never worked right. I can never get a display. It just irks me that its such a PITA right out of the box to set up.

Worked beautifully for me. And, fwiw, I use the RGBHV connectors from my MyHD card to my TV and my ATI Radeon 8500DV goes thru the VGA pass-thru on the MyHD card.

we had the same problem in our house and we dumped the shuttle and went to the replay and both of us are happy we did.
