I was wondering, which of these three brands of shirt do you prefer - IZOD, Chaps or US Polo Assn? These brands are priced above clothing sold at Walmart or Target, but below brands such as Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein.

IZOD is owned by PVH, who also owns Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger along with several other brands such as Arrow, Van Heusen, Speedo (North America only), Warner's, and Olga (the latter three inherited from their acquisition of Warnaco).

Chaps is actually owned by Ralph Lauren but sold at a lower price point. The menswear line was for a while owned by Warnaco until 2013 when Ralph Lauren re-acquired it after Warnaco was acquired by PVH.

US Polo Assn is the brand of the actual United States Polo Association, the governing body of the sport of polo in the United States. They are usually priced on average $5 less than IZOD or Chaps.

I probably have more IZOD shirts than any other brand, mostly in my signature color, Pink. Lately I have been sold on their new Advantage Polo, which I now have in four different colors (Cradle Pink, Absinthe Green, Blue Radiance, and most recently Tea Rose).

where is the none option? i wouldn't wear any of those, ever.

What, do you really think I am some rich snob that can afford high-end designer labels such as Ralph Lauren or Lacoste? I have a few Ralph Lauren clothing that I have got on special, but no Lacoste (who is now a different company from IZOD). Between the three that I posted which would you choose?

As for which of the three is the most upscale, that depends. IZOD is mostly sold at JCPenney, Kohl's, and Belk, however, some Macy's stores also carry a varied selection of IZOD products, and Macy's is a bit more upscale than the other three stores.

Chaps is primarily sold at Kohl's and Belk.

USPA is probably the least upscale of the three since it generally costs on average $5 less than IZOD or Chaps, and is sold mostly at JCPenney and Sears.

I get whatever is at the thrift shop I like the looks of. 90% of everything is shit made by the lowest paid people in the world, and brand doesn't matter.

whooooosh, right over your head. to put it simply, you won't ever find me wearing a 'polo' style shirt of any brand.
Yeah. Either wear a shirt or don't. Polo shirts are for people who can't decide between t-shirts or proper shirts.
