What is the best shaving equipment you've used? (Price no object)
What else have you used? How does it compare?

I just shaved for the first time in 15 years. I have a thick beard and sensitive skin.
I used a Gellette Atra twin blade for the first few days. It was close enough but got some nicks. I find manual razors require a great deal of concentration (at 7:00 AM) to be safe.
For the last few days I have been using a Norelco 3 head electric. It takes just as long, if not longer than the Atra. It still irritates my face as much, or more, than the Atra. (Instructions say give it 20 days for your face to adjust. WTF? Exactly how is my face going to adjust?) But, no risk of cuts. Therefore requires less concentration. It is closer than I expected. Close enough to last me through the day. Not as close as the Atra though.
Any other opinions?
