How many houses have lights? How elaborate are the lights?

Around here, about 3/5 of the houses are lit, and quite a few of them are all out. I really like it 🙂

Our neighborhood is usually lit up very well during the holidays, but hardly anyone did outside decorations this year.
 
In my parent's neighborhood, the community goes nuts during the holidays. One memorable house had a carousel in their front yard.

edit: I voted all of them and they look amazing, but it's not really all of them. Maybe like 9/10 or so.
 
3/5 I'd say. Nothing special really. I should be doing it for the first time this year. We finally moved into our own home last December but too late to do it. Should be fun.
 
Do you think the instance of lights varies from state to state and locale to locale?
