The '97 Ford Taurus that I drove before it was sold was made in Atlanta. The '02 Ford Taurus and the '06 Ford 500 that my parents drive were both made in the U.S. as well.

Both. I demand a new poll option. And make it snappy. Because I'm beginning to feel a bit offended at your blatant discrimination against those in both categories at the same time. Plus my lawyer is bored.

According to wikipedia, Ford controls 35% of Mazda.

1993 Mazda 626. Although people usually think of Mazda as foreign, it's mostly domestic I believe. Even though it is old I think it's more domestic than foreign. It MAYBE was designed in Japan, but has a a UAW (or some other American auto union) sticker on it for assembly/production. It was built in the US I believe, since the VIN starts with a 1J. I think Japan-built ones start with 4? Or maybe it was made in Mexico, which might start with a 1 anyway, but correct me here.

But it has a weak-ass Japanese rear defroster! :D

1999 Chevrolet

I really dont give a crap where it was assembled or where it's parts came from. It's paid for and it starts every day, good enough for me.
