Poll: is there something odd about having two printers?

notfred

Every time I post pictures of my desk, someone says soemthing like "Why do you have two printers?", no one ever asks why I have two computers, or two speakers, or two drawers, or anything else, but for some reasonm two printers is some kind of abnormality. Do you find this wierd?

I have 3 printers, a laser and 2 inkjets that don't work properly. Bless those hot deals.

I kinda think that having one speaker would be kinda weird though.😉

ony way it would be wierd is if you had 2 printers that were the exact same model, both working. Photo printers and laser printers are way different.

Nope, we have a HP Laserjet 5p (still working after eight years), an Epson c80 injet, and an Epson 785epx photo printer. I also have an Epson c80, so when I go back during the summer, there will be four total. Plus, we will buy one for my sister this summer before college, so actually five.

Every time someone comes to my place, they ALWAYS ask "Why do you have two computers?" Let alone two printers...

it's a little weird, but I don't see why everyone has to jump on you for it...seems to me if you have a photo-quality printer already, it should print text just fine...

doh...?
One el cheapo HP 6L for cheap and crisp B&W printing
Second an inkjet one for occasional color printing.....
There is nothing wrong, moreover it makes a lot of sence to have a setup like this...

Nope, I've got a multifunction HP Laserjet 3330 & an Epson 785epx, different uses for both...

Similar setup. Got a multifuntion D135 (got paid 30 bucks to buy it, TY HP & Staples) and one free Epson C82 (ty epson).

i have an old HP Deskjet 820cse and a Canon i320... good thing I had both, one night when i was printing out a big paper at like 11 at night, my canon i320 runs out of ink, and thank god i still had enough ink in the HP to finish the job

But it's less efficient (ink cost wise) to print plain text stuff on a photo printer; thus, many prefer to have a regular inkjet plus a photo printer, or a laser plus a photo printer.
