I voted no because my girlfriend would use them interchangeably. Then again, for some girls there might be a difference. Like maybe you're really hot, but if you're total klutz, I can imagine you're not very sexy.

No difference. I don't care if a girl says your friend is hot or your friend is sexy, either way, you're not getting any.
Now, there may be a difference if she says you're hot vs. you're sexy...but if she says your sexy, and she's talking about your friend or something else of yours, she's probably not literate.

There's a difference for me, I don't know about anyone else. When I say someone is hot, they're extremely physically attractive--usually said about random guy walking down the street or in a magazine. When I say someone is sexy, they may be a little goofy looking or even plain, but their personality/charisma/charm makes me want to ravage them.

heh... i was just gonna make a post about this.

last night after i took my gf out to a movie (we've only been going out for a week), we went back to her place. we talked about lots of stuff for like an hour. then we just looked at each other, and she says "you're such a cutie!", so I told her she was sexy and she blushed big time Then we made out for like an hour. She said we would take it slow that night, but that I was getting some soon

Make the story short, one day over the summer, one of my female friends, out of no where, turned to me and said "yup you are the pimp".
