Yep, I'm a self proclaimed armchair patriot & an armchair hawk, (I'll also set off metal detectors in airports for the rest of my life from all the plates, pins & screws holding me together too, & have been certified unfit for duty a couple of motorcycle & car accidents ago) but here's a poll:

The United States has warned its allies of a possible second round of attacks by the end of this week following the deadly strikes on New York and Washington, Jiji news agency quoted Japanese government sources as saying.

Maybe they'll get the Left Coast this time & actually really unify this country:|

Didn't the current administration already send $43 million to Afghanistan's Talliban this last May?

And NO, unfortunately the terriorism will continue.

WASHINGTON -- Warning that Afghanistan is "on the verge of a widespread famine," Secretary of State Colin Powell Thursday announced a $43 million package in humanitarian assistance for the Afghan people.

While U.S. officials cited the drought as the major factor for the deepening humanitarian crisis, the members of the delegation said that Afghanistan's ruling Taliban's regime and the security problems it presents, hinders access and contributed to the situation.

The U.N. Security Council imposed sanctions against the Taliban in an effort to pressure the militia to hand over Saudi exile Osama bin Laden, who is accused of bombing two U.S. embassies in Africa. Humanitarian aid is allowed.

Powell said the U.S. aid is administered by the United Nations and non-governmental organizations, and bypasses the Taliban, "who have done little to alleviate the suffering of the Afghan people, and indeed have done much to exacerbate it."

The sum brings U.S. assistance to $124.2 million for this year, making the United States the largest Afghan donor for the second year in a row. <<

I saw a newspaper article that a shipment of wheat left last week for Afghanistan.

Our war is with the terrorists, not the people of Afghanistan. It will be a fine line at times, but one that must be made.

Ugh clicked the wrong vote button. Anyways I think this is just the start. I have a really bad feeling millions if not billions of people will be dead before this is all over. I'm worried about nuclear bombs, poisoned water supplies, or whatever evil things these terrorists can think of. If they are aiming to hit buildings during peak occupancy times for the maximum kill effect, I get the feeling they want to kill as many people as possible now.
I hope poisoning a water supply isn't too easy. One of NYC's resovoirs is surrounded by sprain brook parkway. I've driven down this parkway a few times. What's to stop a tanker truck full of some deadly poison from pulling over to the side of the road and dumping it's contents into that resovoir, killing hundreds of thousands of people?
That really really scares me. I hope to god there is some failsafe to prevent that.

Freejack2, anyone who's not a little scared is just plain stupid, honestly, the best thing to do is let your elected officials know how you feel and that you're supportive (within reason) of combating terrorism. And go buy a new car, a US made one if you can stand it...

Already got a US made car, 2001 Saturn. Nice car, reasonable payments, loaded with everything but the sunroof (Sunroofs tend to leak and take up ceiling space).

I looked up a little bit on water supplies. Apparently they filter it before it goes into the pipes and they test it daily. Also even a reservoir like the Grassy sprain reservoir holds billions and billions of gallons of water. It'd apparently take a LOT of tanker trucks to get the ppm count up enough to be poisonous.
Still these terrorist scum are always looking for ways to kill everyone.
