It's cool, Same truck I have actually mine just has the Dark Grey paint at the bottom. And then under the hood is a world of difference.

Lose the chrome, paint the whole thing matte black (like the cop cars in Robocop) and mount some dual-50 cals. in the bed and then you might have something.

I like it just fine. We had wonderful weather over the weekend and it got its first washing since I had bought my digital cam (about 3 months), so I snapped a couple of pics.

There are so many threads on here about the only cool cars being German sedans, I didnt want our younger impressionable minds thinking German sedans were the only route to being cool

Lowering it isnt a bad idea, except I actually use it for work to haul stuff around, and I have seen other guys screw their trucks up badly lowering them and then sticking a heavy load on them. In the past it has looked kinda cool when I had about 500 pounds of concrete mix in the back, really had a nice stance. Matter of fact my tile setter lost a pair of 20" wires and Nitto tires doing that.
