Say, some of you smart guys can unconfuse me.
Is the cow in the Gateway commercials and print ads male or female?
When as a boy I worked on a farm near my home, I thought I saw nearly type of domestic bovine, specifically cows. All bovines that gave milk were always females. Bulls knocked the female bovines up, which caused the females to have calves and to give milk. Until maturity, female cows are called heifers. A denutted male cow is called a steer, but you can still see a steer's maleness hanging down from the middle of his belly. I say all this to help you to understand the scope of my knowledge in this matter to this point in time.
However, Gateway seems to have invented a unique cow gender totally alien to my experience. In the commercials, the cow has an unmistakable male voice. In the print ads, the cow has no udder nor any dangling things that would suggest maleness. Because it has no udder, it could be a heifer, but that male voice rules that out completely.
