Windows Genuine Advantage has made things difficult for pirates. They can no longer use the Windows Update site, and the only way they can get critical updates is with automatic updates. They also cannot download a lot of MS software from MS's website, such as Windows defender and the .net platform. Vista is going to expand this by stopping pirates from using Aeroglass (though this will probably be hacked).
Is all of this enough to make you buy Vista? If you're not using a pirated copy of XP, please don't vote.
