Poll:Is anyone going to switch?

I heard about the PS2 it's comming out late October. Supposed to be pretty good. I think you know it's specs right? If not check sony's website. So is anyone going to switch playing games from the PC to the PS2? I mean you would spend the price of it on some high end graphic board.

 

Got a Dreamcast for basically nothing. No reason to jump to a PS2 at this point. Maybe when they are $150 next year I will consider it.

I have switched, for the short term at least, from PC to console. When I play console games I don't sit there saying "damn, I wonder if I am getting optimal FPS." It's a sickness I tell you

If you can get one, grab it! You can sell it at a huge profit right away. That would help in getting a kick ass CD Writer!. Or did you get one already?

I may switch from PC to console eventually...but it sure as hell isn't going to be anytime soon, PS2 is nice for a console but in terms of the games it plays and multi-play and whatever else it just can't compete - not yet anyway...and its still going to be no better in 2 years than it is now, GRR, thats why PCs rule if you don't mind paying for it.

I have a crappy PC at home and rarely play games on it. I'll probably get the PS2 after Christmas is over and the price goes down. I like the fact that it can play DVD movies on it as well as games and since I do not have a DVD player it should work out well.

No, I was talking about grabbing a PS2. There are about 1 million preorders out there and only 500,000 to go around. Somebody is going to be making some $$$$$
