Poll inside: Should I try to eat something?

My doctor used to recommend drinking gatorade or 7-up for these situations.

Maybe some plain crackers and white bread or broth.

Coca-Cola is the best. No ice. It eases the stomach. My mom always made me drink Coke when i had a stomach virus.

Have somebody go to the store for you and get some Pedialyte. It's for little kids who get sick. It's like Gatorade. But it costs a lot. So it must be better. Like somebody already said, eat saltine crackers.

IF that does not work, get a cup of steaming hot water and add some honey to it. Then add some of your favorite bourbon to it. Repeat several times and no worries.

If you can't even hold down water, go to ER now before you pass out (you're REALLY fvcked if that happens).

If you can keep water down, keep yourself hydrated, and start moving your way up to Gatorade and watered-down juice.

If you can keep those down for a few hours, eat bland soups and noodles (i usually eat top ramen w/o the little packet of sh!t seasoning).

And when those stay down, veggies, fruits, and bread.

No meats and dairies until you're healthy again.

I get food poisoning on average once a semester, so I've been through this a few times. 😉

you need to make the coke flat first for best effectiveness. i'm having a similar problem right now and that's what i did. you can just pour coke from one cup to the other repeatedly until the bubbles go away.
