Isn't the X850XT PE just a overclocked X850XT? I mean there is no other difference between the cards other then clock speed right? If that is the case then the reviewer underclocked the two 7800GS cards from their off the shelf stock speeds and then tested them against an overclocked X850XT.

Am I wrong about this?

It's not the same thing. The xt pe is a reference clock set by Ati - not some vendor version clocked higher than the reference.

LOL. So why stop there? An x850xt is technically just an overclocked x800xl by that definition. A 6800u is just an oc'd 6800gt. Are the reviewers supposed to be declocking card below reference just because you think they should?

Who cares about a 16 pixel pipeline AGP part anyways? Been there, done that. Now, if it was a 24 pipe AGP part, then I may be interested, as most AGPers would as well.

As you can tell from the poll, most AGP users are interested in a revision of this review with it still being a 16 pipe card.

I really just wanted them to throw a few older cards like the 6800 series and maybe even the FXs. I.E. a card that someone considering this card would probably actually own.
