[Edited because Prodigy changed his stance]

We can hope that if she relocates somewhere, the people who live around her will know of her past and be accordingly cautious. And before you start harping on her rights, consider this. "Human rights" are for people that have demonstrated that they have the capacity to be human. This person obviously does not qualify.

I think the killing is unforgiving, but keeping the girl in the prison is no good for anyone. I'am sure that she lerned her lesson.

Everyone deserves a second chance.

I read that story, and the girl that was released (Toni) didn't play a part in luring the girl to the car or in the actual torture and murder. And the poll is stupid, she is not a "proven killer". I think 8 years for being associated with the murder is enough.

I'm sorry, but I think proven killers should be put to death. Peroid. Everybody knows it is wrong to kill another person, and we do not need people like that in our lives.

It is a shame that we as tax payers have to support these pieces of human moral filth for the rest of their lives.

prodigy^ WFT?!!?!?! This is an excuse to kill someone? "when you're 16 years old you don't yet know how the world is put together"

You just stated that its ok to kill someone because your young and its a tough world. Excuse me? That is EXACLTY why there are more and more crimes committed everyday, PEOPLE ARE NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE. It is always someone elses fault, something made them do it, a product of their enviroment, ETC, ETC!!

Do you have a sister? How about a mother? how would you like it if someone, lets say a 16 year old guy, tortures and kills one of them? WHAT WOULD YOU THINK? THINK MAN!!! THINK!!! If you could not hold that person FULLY responsible, you are no better that the killer. You would be wasting MY AIR DAMMIT.

Well i think 8 years is way too long. If someone had a hand in one of my kids death (directly or not) its to long to weight for me to get at them. I say let the killers out and let the parents have there justice.

Don't tell me at age 16 you don't know what causes pain...

If not, you have been coddled TOO MUCH and are worthless anyway.

i have to agree with RGN
it saddens me to see how people agree that she should be free
no one, except for the lady, knows whether she's remorseful or not
if you could get the mother of the little girl to tell the woman that she understands why her daughter had to be killed and agree that she should be released, then maybe I?d change my mind
but human filth like her needs to be kept locked up or executed.
this leniency towards criminals is part of the downfall of our society.
we're afraid to let our kids play outside the house these days and its just saddening
