if you needed a job and you got offers from rambus, intel, 3dfx, creative, or microsoft, which one would you take?
 
from what i understand, not too many people are fond of thier business practices when concerning aureal. i don't think that thier products suffer from a lack of competetion however some people would tend to disagree...
 
I think I would go with Intel, I like a lot of contraversy...😛.. Plus They always stay on the Leading edge. (Making history ya know)

I'd take Microsoft - their the market leader, and although some of their products are bad, Win2k, office2k, and IE are all the best of their class. They also give great perks to their employees, including stock options and real flexible hours. Plus you get a peak at the other products before they get finished too 🙂
 
Considering I'm a software developer, probably Microsoft. Plus, they've got really cool working environment, and you get free Universal MSDN subscription 🙂
 
Microsoft R&D division. If you want to take part in shaping the technology for the next decade, that?s that place to be. Microsoft has the largest R&D funding of anywhere, excluding the US government.
 
I would prolly go with Microsoft also. Plus I heard that they have a great benefits program for employees.

I'd take the Intel offer ... yeah, they are in trouble now, but in a long run once they get their act together the compony will be cool to work for.

I truly love working for Intel. I have had multiple offers from other companies, and I've never seriously considered leaving Intel.
 
i would work at microsoft. i want to play with the latest and greatest microsoft os'es and get my certifications too hehe... msdn subscriptions don't hurt either.
 
Microsoft is where i'd go, especially since i'm not a hardware type. 3dfx might be fun being an underdog, depends how financially secure i was and it'd be cool to work on their drivers and junk. Rambus doesnt engineer anything i'm not a lawyer so i couldn't work there, and creative is nice, but they dont really make anything they just steal it from others or use reference designs. Microsoft i've heard takes care of their employees very well. Intel i heard is where you want to go if you want to get it up the ass, and do work till you are gonna die and then do more after that. Just out of college anyways.... I dont know maybe you have to pay your dues there moreso
