Poll: If you had to kill animals yourself in order to eat meat

I'd eat less meat, probably a lot less. I'm a bit squeamish about that sort of thing. No way I'd stop though... and I might even get used to it and eat as much as I do now.

I'd probably eat less considering I'd have to drive a long time to hunt anything worth eating. I could however continue fishing and just eat massive amounts of fish.

I've killed and prepared rabbits and chickens before. Probably would be messy as hell, but I'm sure I could kill larger animals.

Possibly. It depends on the method used. I'm pretty sure I could shoot a cow, but I don't know about cutting it's throat and cleaning it and all that. Also, I usually work 10-12 hours a day, so I don't know that I would feel up to killing an animal after work.

I think you need to qualify the "eat less" with a "hunt yourself" option, because hunting and catching something is a lot damn harder than going to the store and buying a fresh, live chicken.

Depends if I have a woman or not. I'm fine with the killing and I'm not squeamish, I'd probably just be too lazy to clean it and cook it.

But if the woman'll clean and prep it, I'll sure kill it.
