Poll: IF you had 10,000 bux . .. . what would you do??

would you build one kick rear system with dual processors phase change cooling on every piece of silicon and scsi floppy's???? or would you build a bunch of pc's with decent specs capable of the same stuff each, or would you build like 3-4 systems, one tricked for games, one rigged for music and cd burning, maybe another for websurfing, one for lan, and another for dvd's?? well what would you do.. . . . . ?? ? ? ?come on lets here the awsomest idea

I'm with the other guys... I'd spend about 5-10% of it, and then invest the rest in a mix of CD's and mutual funds.

If I absolutely had to spend it on a computer, I'd get an ok system and then a 24" flatscreen.

BTW- I hardly see any reason to spend that kind of money on hardware- as it is, I have around $20,000 of computer hardware here in the house- if you consider the original cost of the 386's and 486's I've scrapped out.

Point is, $10,000 worth will bring you $500-1000 on E bay 3-4 years from now. Spend 1500, build a kickass system, invest the rest, use the interest to build another system 2-3 years from now

a) 10000 aint sh!t. all these geeks and no rich dotcummers amongst you?? hmmm.. you're obviously misdirecting your talents...
b) double your money???? ok smart guys, if you were bright enough to have a stock with a 100% return on investment in "a few years" then you'd already have these cars and systems...
c) the Saints suck.
d) Z28? I think a sported out Honda Del Sol or geo metro could beat that piece 'o crap...on maintainance costs alone... 10000=downpayment to buy a GOOD car!

I think the key here is 10000 EXTRA, right? Well either invest it all, or go all out on yourself the RIGHT way:

1) 55" HD projection TV (under $2k)
2) Surround sound Bose system (under $2k)
3) Playstation 2 ($500 with 3 games and extra controller)
4) One kickass system with a 21 incher, a Geforce2 Ultra (soon..very soon! woohoo), a sweet server case, and tons of 10000rpm storage, 256mb RAM, etc. (about $2000)
5) A new sport coat and pants (nice clothes), new shoes (about $400 total)
6) A phat weekend in Atlantic city/Vegas (about $1500)
7) New PDA (about $600)
8) new Moutain Dew Supply ($50)

----> And all that still leaves $900 for extras..like condoms and some dope in Vegas...roughly...

Sheesh... be creative folks... "duh..err..a new Z28...with gold-trim and brass license plate holders and plates reading [GO SAINTS].. some new wraparound blueblockers...and err, some new glue to sniff..." UHHHHHG. god help some of you.

oliver, THAT is the kind of stuff im talkin about, but lets say you where a consultant, and some one wanted you to build the best pc possible for future upgradability, but also the best possible power available now, for 3k, but oliver, if your gettin a 55in hi def tv, why not hook the pc to that. .
