Depends, is the magic lamp 110 or 220? If it's that old antique kind with a candle in it, I'd just kick it back to whatever trashpile it rolled out of.

As of now, I say no. But I am young, so I will see what comes. For now though, I think the world has not given me what I deserve. I believe I am a nice person, but still the world bites you in the ass. I know I am still in high school, and high school can be crual to nerds, especially computer nerds. We will see what happens after college, when all us computer nerds are making money, and those people that made fun of us are cleaning our floors.

No. I didn't deserve to be born in America into a middle class family with food on the table any more than anyone else deserved it.

Hay,
I answered yes! (to the thread question, that is)

If we reap what we sow the answer is yes.
If the genie determines based on criteria of his own design I'd say no because I don't know the genie. Is he a good genie? Is he fair? Is he an operative of GWB I'd say not no but hell no.
Do I gamble? hmmmm No, I don't think so.

Orwell said war is peace... Genie's may say good is evil...
This is deeper than I thought... It is assumed the genie can and will deliver but, what.

No... my final answer is no!

Yes. We all have the choice to hate and be mean spirited or to be happy and at peace with ourselves. Wealth or privelege won't make us any more than what we already are inside.
We are already living the life we deserve. :)

I think it'd be a little much to expect a genie to cause the whole world to see the wisdom of my posts. In giving me what I deserve he's inadvertently be giving everybody else what they deserve too.

The question is, who decides what a person deserves? The answer can vary greatly depending on the perspective of the deciding authority.

The genie does not give you 3 wishes, he asks "Do wish to have what you deserve?"

You do not get to ask any questions, nor give any qualifiers, and you MUST choose.

Yes or No.

How do you answer?

I'd give him the finger and walk away without answering... I might call him a douchebag while I'm at it.

I was out and about earlier (don't like being out there;)) and saw the guy with baggy pants and this big clown head... Jack of Jack in the Box... so I say's to myself... Self.. is that Moonbeam? Self say's nah... can't be... so I then say's to myself... self only one way to find out... and yup... I said... "Hey.. Moonbeam... whaaaaaas happppinnnnn". Clown person turns and said "Come on give me a break.... I'm here for the kids not the adults have your fun with someone else..." what a grouch... couldn't be Moonbeam I thought. Besides he's at home or work planning the next issue of "Hawking radiation and the black hole or how to define reality to inherently fake":D

**Edit: I would want what I deserve, because good or bad, it's what I deserve, but I wouldn't want something so profound to be decided by some random genie. Since no qualifiers are given as far as I know the genie might ask some bug I stepped on what I deserve and go from there. It's just too dependent on perspective. So I guess while I would want what I deserve, I wouldn't want the genie to give it to me, so my answer is still no:D

What he said.

I'd rather be the judge of what I do and don't deserve...
