You can already predetermine the sex of your children. XY Inc. does it for non-human species, I don't remember the name of the company that does humans I think they are based in Virgina. You can also treat the sperm with a peptide that will increase it's ability to fertilize the egg. I'm sure this is more than most wanted to know, I just happen to know people who work in this field.

Female if had a choice.... cuz my family ALWAYS has mostly boys in each generation, rarely any females.

Probably a male cause it'd be easier to take care of and when he gets older, I'd still be able to play sports with him, etc. Ideally, I'd like one of both.
