It's all talk for a lot of people.

Try watching the video where a pair of men in the Middle East get stoned to death. I thought it would be cool, but it left my stomach churning.

Imagine a person dying any way you want, but when you see those stones hit their cloth-covered faces and blood just pours out soaking through, you'll never want to see it again.

I wouldn't order it but given the opportunity watch for free, I probably would watch it. I've also watched the aforementioned video of two men being stoned to death. If you don't watch the punishment, how can you be sure that the punishment fits the crime? Are you just going to trust your government to do the right thing and carry out the punishment properly? It's not being morbid - it's realizing what you, as a citizen of a country that imposes the death penalty, have supported (if you've voted for a representative that supports the death penalty and of course live in a country that has the death penalty).

This might sound a bit radical, but I think troubled teens who get tangled up with the law a bit might should see something like this... it might &quot;shock&quot; them back into rational thinking.

I dunno, just tossing out some food for thought.

I wouldn't choose to watch it, but considering we, as a society (or maybe it's just the politicians - I'm not going into that here) have said we want the death penalty, if it was a condition of enforcement that we did have to watch it, then I would.

Putting it on Pay-per-view (not that I expect that'll ever happen) really cheapens the whole thing. Someone's being killed as punishment for his crimes - we don't need to turn it into a rock concert or some wrestling event. There should be some solemnity about it.

No way. I am a complete supporter for the death penalty, and I might want to see it if I were directly affected. But I would not be able to watch something that awful, the loss of a human life that had the potential of brining others happiness.

No one enjoys pain, very few enjoy inflicting pain. But only the sickest people enjoy watching others in pain to the point of death. McVeigh is on par with those in the last group.
