I figure just the sight of Canada's tank would cause France to surrender immediately, but how would Canada get it there in the first place?

Here's a better question: Who would care? :D

And just for reference, I know a lot of Canadiens & I have French in my bloodline so you can take your complaints and shove off. :p

you should have an option for neither... france wouldn't attack, they'd surrender if canada came at them, but canada doesn't have enough to go at them, so stalemate :)

^the above may not be true in any way, sense or form ;)

Canada would. Partially because France would never actually use "the bomb", but mostly because Canada actually has a pretty damn good military. Considering the numbers of troops, Canadians did some great stuff in WWII. Also, Canada has the advantage (and disadvantage) of basically having the US in an "older brother" role. The US would get involved just because we wouldn't want all the disruption along our border.

I think it's a no-brainer to assume war= "drop all nukes". Think about how many nations with nukes have been at war and actually used one.

That tank of Canada's is a national treasure, would they be willing to risk losing it? But then again, if the Canadians walk behind the French gun positions, the French will be confused and might surrender, I think this war would just stalemate...

I'm just wondering if France is going to repeat history and play dead 2 days into the war.

the original poster didn't lay out the ground rules. I am just going by what I know, and even a conventional war can lead to the use of unconventional weapons, in which France would win.

Those Canadian snipers could probably pick the french off without even leaving Canada. Hell, they could sit in Canada's tank just for added security. Probably die of frostbite before France found 'em.

Canada used to have a good military before it was cut back so far. Now it has a couple dozen tanks from God knows when, some leaky subs, and what not. All Canada is good for now is their snipers

Yeah, since when has France had a bomb? That is kind of scary, but then again they would never use it, but then again, whoever they surrender too might.
