I just got a £1000 ($1400) productivity bonus in work but I don't know what to spend it on. What do you guys think?
 
Go to NYC with the woman. It'll be worth it in the long run. Bring you too closer together hopefully. The X-Box will probably not do the same.

In that case, I'd either go to NYC or take your bonus with you on your trip to the far east.

I don't think I'd spend a grand on computer parts or an XBox that you're not going to remember in 10 years

Ditch your G400 and get a TI4600. Then save.

I didn't really want to spend it on new computer bits because I'm not really all that interested in the new games coming out for the PC lately. The most demanding game I play is MOH and that runs okay on the G400.

I thought that the trip to NYC would be the best bet too. I know Katy has been wanting to go for a long time and I've never visited the States either so it will be a nice trip. I'll have to start looking for prices, I know around Christmas time there are some pretty decent deals on flights going around.

AT New Yorkers - Any suggestions for nice hotels? I think we'd be coming for a long weekend only.
