I have the exact same verizon plan and phone you used to have. The phone works great in Chicago, and the service is better than my colleagues who have Sprint, AT&T, and T-mobile/Voicestream. The v120c is one of the highest radiation phones, so maybe that's why it works so well

i have that same verizon wireless plan.. it's good.. i've never tried t-mobile and dont' knwo anyone that has though.. seems like a good deal.. but anyway.. verizon here (bay area) is way better than anything else offered.. you cant' call anyone on the cingular network, cause their networks are always busy.. att is pretty good in most places, but there are huge dead zones.. in particular the one in my neighborhood... dunno much about sprint.. anyway.. seem like you made a good decision..

Well, one thing about the 120c, when I talk on it for more than 2 minutes, the upper part of the phone gets so hot, that it's almost too hot to touch. :Q I drop calls constantly. If I don't have the phone stright-up-and-down, I'll drop the call. A lot of the time, voices get scrambled like they're going through a digital scrambler which is apparently proof that I have a poor signal.

Which is why I have a new phone.

sort of, parent company of voicestream (deutchke telekom or something like that) decided they wanted a global brand, instead of seperate little brands around the world. t-mobile is that global brand.

He took the front and back cover off, then when trying to put it back together, snapped the back faceplate on first. :frown: After trying to get it off for about a minute or so, I posted here, then said "push the button" that's on the back to release the back faceplate to get it off first.



Then he put the buttons back, the front back, and then the back. Now he's playing games.

Yep, Motorola makes great phones . I "accidentally" had my GF buy herself a Motorola because it was small, light and inexpensive. It sucked. It sucked hard. The microphone was substandard. The UI was crappy (even though the salesperson bragged how "it has redesigned UI!"). We tried to replace it to another one, but it didn't help. She ended up replacing it with Ericsson. The salesperson who recommended us the Motorola was so embarrased that he was unable to face us, he let another salesperson deal with us.

We have couple of Motorola tri-band phones at my workplace. They too suck hard, even though they are supposed to be "on the expensive side". We have them so we can borrow them to our american co-workers who visit our office (they couldn't tell what a good phone is like, even if it bit them in the nose ).

Motorolas suck. I will NEVER again want to have ANYTHING to do with those!

Yeah I know how much it sucks when your cell phone breaks. I've broken 2 of them, they're pretty fragile things.

The 3390 is pretty sturdy, I dropped it about 5 times and it still works perfectly.
