You walk in to a stall in the bathrooms at work. There is a penny on the ground. Do you pick it up?

I only ask because I was just in this situation. I passed on it.

It's a penny, you HAVE to pick it up. [Sylvester Stallone] It's the law. [/Sylvester Stallone]

So what's the smallest denomination of dirty bathroom money that you'd pick up? $20?

Why are you all so worked up about a penny being on a bathroom floor? You honestly think that the 'clean' money you'd pick up from a sidewalk hasn't seen worse places?

there has been a penny next to my couch in my living room on the floor for the last 2 weeks and i've been to lazy to pick it up, so why would i do so in a bathroom...

the only thing that happens with pennies is they sit in my pocket until i lose them

1. It's dirty. Let the janitor keep it.
2. The time it takes me to stop and pick it up, I've already wasted more than a cent.
3. Maybe someone is hiding in the corner just waiting for me to bend over...
4. There might be a good reason why the original owner of the penny left that there

If it's a roll of quarters, and I just happen to be in the ladies room, I might keep it as a souvenir. ;)

Well, a sidewalk typically doesn't have footprints from shoes that have been standing in urine.

I figure I make almost a penny a second, so it's not really worth my time.
A quarter I'd probably pick up.
It's not that much extra time to wash it, and if I was in the stall, I've got to take the time to wash my hands anyway right?

EDIT: plus, we have a semi-clean room environment here, so our bathrooms get cleaned like 3 times a day.

No way, it seems kinda sick to me and not worth getting some disease over. Our money is already dirty enough without having to be on the bathroom floor

it would have to be at least $0.25 and then only if things looks ok/clean and i would use some tissue and i would drop it into the sink and run hot water on it

The minimum amount of money I would pick up off a public restroom floor would be a $1 bill... unless it was visibly soiled. If it was visibly soiled, it would have to be at least a $20 bill.

kick it over and under one of the urinals so if someone wants to pick it up they might put their face in the urinal.
