Poll: Howard Dean vs George W. Bush

Voting for Dean would be like wasting your vote.

And that's an understatement! I've come to respect moderate, level-headed Democrats, but c'mon, all of their candidates this time around are just a bunch of hapless sots- they're so baseless and laughable it's not even funny. I can't even fathom any of them in charge of the United States. Actually, I can. And it's downright scary. Some of them I wouldn't even want as representatives or senators! The only ones I have any scrape of respect for are Kerry and Lieberman. The others are jokes. And Kunich, or whatever his name is, is just mental.

I am going to be very shocked and questioning the intelligence of ATOT if extremely-liberal Dean, algore's new pet, even remotely pulls ahead in our little poll here.

Don't under-estimate the stupidity of the membership here.

Yeah, I recognized this right after I posted that. Who am I kidding? Sometimes I forget where I am and who I'm surrounded by.

dean is viewed by the general public as too much of a liberal so its gonna be hard for him to hug the center

No, it's going to be impossible for him to 'hug the center'- so many moderate and conservative Democrats are going to be jumping ship for the Bush camp it'll be shocking. That's why I'm loving Dean, one of the most idiotic guys of that group, being ahead in Democrat candidate polls, and algore's endorsement of him! 😀 Dems are just shooting themselves in the ass. And it's a beautiful thing.

There was a great article written somewhere last year, that I can't find, after the Congressional elections that had a brilliant title: "God Help The Democratic Party".

Leaning towards Dean, but need to know more about him before I decide.

Hive you read his website yet?

He writes about many specific issues that he feels need to be addressed in America.

Like breaking up all major corporations, even though he cannot give a straight answer as to why. He just hates big business, which is what drives America.

The guy is a schmuck and a half- Vermont's king village idiot.

Is Harry Browne running this time?

He's already said he's not going to run, not sure who the lp candidate is going to be. I voted for Browne the last two times though. This time however I'm voting for whoever's got the best chance of beating Bush. And that's my foremost reason for hating Bush; he's going to make me vote for a Democrat for the first time in my life. :disgust: I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of first time Democrat voters...

There are party-hoppers at every election- that's nothing new. But if you think Dean is going to attract more Republicans than Bush will Democrats, you've got another thing coming.

What exactly has Bush done that you think will attract Democrats to switch parties and vote for him?

IF the economy continues to improve (and if Iraq doesn't blemish him too much), people will vote for Bush regardless of party affiliation

Now a Republican voting for Dean... well...

*note* I am not crediting or discrediting Bush w/ the recent uptick in the economy. Please also note the big "IF". 🙂
