We all come down with a cold, a fever, or the flue sometimes. I haven't been sick for like two years, but I got a mild fever and a hurting tummy on Monday; I feel better now, but I still need a fluffy sweater to keep warm.

This thread is like that other one about how often you get sick, but I made it more specific because i'd like to know what's considered average immunity. When I was younger, I used to get sick like once a year, but I haven't been afflicted for a long time in the past while until Monday.

I get a slight cold maybe twice a year, but I only get really sick every 3 or 4 years. I've had the flu three times, bronchitis once, and one super bad cold.

I rarely get sick but if i do its bad. Generally there is projectile vomiting or a hospital stay. That's basically the last three times i was sick in the past 6 years. I hate to do things half asked;):)

My health ain't all that great but I don't get sick very often. Maybe once every 4 or 5 years where I'd have to rest for 2 days or so.

Maybe once per year, but usually nothing major. Just a cold that goes away in a week or so. I'm sure after saying this I'll fall violently ill with the flu combined with explosive diarrhea.

too much lately.
I had a sore throat last week, and a fever of 102.5
I was fine for a couple o' days, then last night the Fever came back worse, and it brought along a nice ear/sinus infection, and they brougt along a ruptured eardrum this morning!

Just about twice yearly, but recently I've gone on a long streak without being sick at all. There's a bug going around, but I've failed to catch it (yet!). Lucky me :D

Usually two to four times a year.

Typically they are minor colds or the flu. I've been doing much better since taking a flu shot every year and living on my own. What gets me the most is traveling. It is tiring, and you are living in an environment your body isn't used to. For instance, I stayed with my folks for awhile this X-Mas and my bedroom would get down to about 65 at night. Now, at my apartment, I keep the heat at around 76 and have a humidifier going 24-7 in the winter. It is very comfortable in here, and as a result, I rarely get sick.

maybe once or twice a year. When I lived in my fraternity, I was alot worse. We'd hang out, someone would get sick, then it would make its way around the house...sometimes some of the first people who got it, would get it again..it kind of sucked....

kind of reminds me of some of the girls that used to come around the house ;) :D

Usually a couple times a year. Strange how it always seems to coincide with the nicest days of the year. At least that is what my boss tells me.

I get sick very, very rarely. Funny thing is that I don't even live healthy life. Meaning: I don't really eat healthy. Well, I don't smoke or drink, so that might help a bit.

Maybe once a year. I haven't been sick this year (hopefully it stays that way), but I was terribly sick last year with flu-like symptoms. I recovered from the flu, then I came down with a cold about a month later. I guess I was paying my "dues" from not being sick the previous years.

I also have chronic sinus trouble, so I sometimes feel like I'm going to be sick just because my head is so congested.

Very rarely (maybe once a year) even though my office is full of germ ridden folks who are, it seems always sick.
