POLL: How much money have you ever found lying on the ground at one time?

Have you ever been walking along and noticed some money lying on the ground? How much was it? If it was alot (i.e. something you might get in trouble for if you kept it, like stolen money), what did you do with it?

Just asking because today I found a $20 bill lying on the ground, and I thought I was pretty lucky. I pocketed it and kept on walking.

I found $50 laying in a parking lot about a year ago... Finding money is quite possibly the best feeling ever.

Found an envelope, tattered, with 6 $20s inside it on the street in White Plains. Took 5 and left 1 for good measure. In retrospect I'd have taken the other 20.

I've only found $20 in quarters at a change dispenser.
I know someone who found $5000 hidding in some abandond building's wall when he was redoing the electrical wiring for it.

My dad and I were remodelling my grandma's home and found almost $10k in solid silver nickles (pre-19whatever when they started using clad ones). Too bad they were in her home, we didn't get a nickle of it.

I've found a 20 before..

I found 7$ at the metallica concert, which was cool.. cause we had no money, and it was just enough to buy 3 sodas (2$ each :frown: )

One time I walked up to an ATM and there was 200 bux still in the slot where you get your cash. I looked around and went inside the bank and said something no one claimed it so I got to keep it.

I guess we've all found pennies nickels, and dimes, but this poll is asking the MOST. I found a $5 once, but nothing more than that.

I picked up a little change purse I found lying in the gutter, opened it and saw a $10 bill. Said, COOL. Then I unfolded it, and saw another $10. COOOL. Then finished unfolding, and there was a $100 bill under the two tens!!! $120 for me!!! Woohoo!!

*Sigh*, $10 for me. it was at some campsite north of Spokane, Washington. Thats it though, nothing has ever come close to that again, only quarters and such. maybe someday...
