I'm just wondering what the average amount of money a person saves every month is after they pay their bills. So, about how much money do you save every month?

Not nearly as much as I'd like because my roommate is a fvcking broke ass that gets fired from a job every three months and when I ask him for my money all he says is "soon".

It's sad, dude is 24 years old and can't hold a job, and it's not like they're difficult jobs either.

ETA: Although I will give him credit, because the one he's had now he's had for about 3 months now, still no money for me though. :(

The past 3 months, not much. From the beginning of the year to the end of july though, I saved up enough to pay back a loan and feel comfortable enough that I could buy the parts to buiild myself a new PC. But the past few months my bank account has stayed at pretty much the same place after paying bills/etc., which is enough to keep me afloat for 3-4 months should I happen to lose my job. I see my funds depleting soon though, due to the new semester coming around. Buying books sucks.

$87.50 a week into my Roth IRA, $25 a week into an EE series savings bond, $25 a week into an I series savings bond, plus $60 a week into my savings to cover taxes and some miscellaneous bills.

Whatever VeggieFrog doesnt spend, I do!

I save nothing. I pay all the household bills for myself and my b/f as well as the food and whatever we want to buy. He pays the property tax, and any emergency purchases.

Right now I make like $125/month working 5 hours a week. I'm a full time student though and that covers my living expenses easily unless I hit up hot deals and then I dip into savings. Pretty much not saving anything right now.
