I don't really buy games, if I find one worth paying for I will though. What usually happens is I borrow someone's CD when they want to play network games.. I never end up playing games on my own by myself though, so what's the point in owning them?
I love to game but there's really only been 3-4 games out there that have lasted longer then a week on my computer. $20 a pop, I would buy most PC games. At $50, hahahahaha
I do spend ~200-300 a year on console games though
$51-100 per year, downloading before I buy. If I don't like it, I delete it. If I like it, I'll buy it. That being said, the only game I bought this year so far is Frozen Throne.
On the otherhand, I've spent over $250 on PS2 games..
$200-500. Usually buy about 4 full priced games a year(as in gotta have it the day it comes out). Plus bargains/cheapies I find at random stores or online.
So far this year I've bought...
Half-Life ($15 one of those target things)
Escape from Monkey Island ($5 at bargain bin)
Battlefield 1942 ($20 on sale)
