I think there's a lot of young people, and college students here, so
I wanted to do a comparison.

But if you have a "real job", vote anyways..

Gross pay before taxes..

If you are on salary, I'm sure you've figured it out.

im 21, i make $16/hr, 2 yrs ago i started at $10, not bad...
in 3 years ill make $27+

i am 18, 3 years ago start out at 5.15, and am now at 6.75 :-\

$9.67/hour for helping people use computers at the local libary.

It's an insanely boring job, but the money's good so I'm not quitting until I go to college!

I'm 17 and entering senior year in HS.

got a dollar raise last week, so I now make $13.23 plus $00.15 shift pay, plus a couple of hours of overtime @ 18.xx /hr

Im 20 BTW

was $24/hr, til the fvcking greedy bastards at GM cut all contract employees 7% in Jan, now $22.32

granted, it's still $7.50/hr more than I made at my last job, but still

fall of '00 I was a 5.25$ (min wage in cali at time) at subway. Now min wage is 6.75 in cali, but i'm abotu to start my second job as a car prepper at infiniti and i'm going to be getting 9.10$

It works out to about $35/hour plus benefits. When I think about the (relatively recent) days when I made less than $5/hour, it amazes me what an education does to your earning potential.

$5.15/hour plus tips. Usually comes out to at least $10/hour total, but has been as high as $15/hour at times. Not bad for a summer job.

Software/Web developer. Bachelor's degree from a large univerisity + 5 years development experience = you can do fairly well
