The question is entirely situational. What kind of meat, am I using multiple meats, what else will go on the sandwich and how thick it is sliced all make a difference. But on average, I'd say 4.

Just got home from my Pathology class and hungry as hell so found some honey ham slices in the fridge and made me two samiches. Since its late i debated one or two slices, so i slapped on one with some Frenches yellow mustard. Yummy hit the spot.
